Festivals are celebrated all over the world with great enthusiasm. Every festival which is being celebrated has its own importance. One of the holiest festivals in the Christian calendar, Easter, is celebrated around the world, with great fanfare, easter day is a festival which is being celebrated due to two reasons one is it is tribute to the Resurrection of Jesus while on the other Easter is celebrated due to the advent of the spring season. Easter is a sacred feast which is being celebrated with great joy and happiness because in the easter spring time people noticied the jesus return to life. The main reason behind the celebration of the easter is, on good Friday jesus Christ was hanged on the cross. After that their body was taken from the cross and buried and that place was guarded by the stone so that no one could steal the body. But on Sunday when a woman just passed by from there, she saw that the stone was moved and tomb was empty. Jesus was seen that day and the followers believed that god has raised jesus from dead. So that Sunday is celebrated as the Easter Sunday.



The celebrations of the easter sunday festival include the religious observations in churches, exchange of gifts, making of Easter eggs and many more things. The Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday after the full moon that is between March 20th and April 25th.Easter Sunday is also marked as the day on which the Jesus Christ has been supposed to be risen from dead proving. The week before the easter consists of many important events which leads to the easter Sunday.
